When is the studio open?

Our studio is open every day (including Sundays and public holidays) from 8 am to 10 pm. You can book on the hour at any time, but no more than three months in advance.

What is the booking process?

After we receive your booking, you will receive a booking confirmation and an invoice with all relevant information via email. If you are booking on account, please ensure that you pay the invoice in good time so that the amount is credited to our account before the start of the rental period (please allow for bank working days).

The loft door will usually be open on your booked date. Alternatively, you can check in to the studio using your door code. The code is only valid for the booked time slot. The studio must be vacated on time; that is, furniture and props must be returned to their original positions by the end of your rental period. Please factor in the time required for this within your booked time slot.

Is a spontaneous extension possible?

If the studio isn't booked immediately after your scheduled rental period, you can book overtime and extend your rental time by one hour or part thereof. Overtime must be booked and paid for online at least one hour before the end of your rental period, either by credit card or PayPal. To be on the safe side, it's best to allow enough time for your work, setup, and takedown when booking.

What equipment is available?

All furniture and props shown in the respective studio gallery are available for your use free of charge. The large windows provide excellent available light, both in sunny and cloudy weather.

In addition, the studio is equipped with the following technical equipment, which you can use free of charge: 1 Nanlite (or similar), 2 tripods, 2 V-Flats (black/white), various clamps and fabrics, a background system for paper backdrops, a rollable backdrop wall (plain/Parisian stucco), a steamer, and a rod for backdrop cloths. The available equipment is shown in the photos for each loft ( https://studio72c.de/pages/studios ).

What is included in the rent?

→ Wi-Fi, heating & electricity costs (excluding high-voltage electricity)
→ Use of existing equipment (tripods, furniture, props, clothes racks, etc.)
→ Kitchen use (refrigerator, coffee machine)
→ For heavy soiling, a cleaning fee of EUR 70 will be added.

Does the studio need to be cleaned up after use?

We kindly ask all our guests to leave the studio tidy and on time for their booked rental period. Should we find any significant soiling, we will charge a cleaning fee of €70 plus VAT. If furniture and items are not returned to their original positions, we will charge a service fee of €50 plus VAT. It's best to allow sufficient time for tidying up when booking. Due to subsequent bookings, it's unfortunately not always possible to spontaneously book overtime online via the website to extend the rental period.

When can one expect sunlight in the studio?

In summer, the sun shines directly into our lofts between approximately 7 am and 7 pm; in winter, you can expect this from around 9 am to about 5 pm at the earliest; of course, this depends on the season and the weather, which we cannot control. Thanks to our large windows, however, the studio space benefits from daylight even without direct sunlight.

For what occasions can the studio be rented?

The list is long: From photoshoots and video productions to workshops, courses, and small events, our daylight studio is available for everything. Animals are only allowed by prior arrangement.

What's the best way for me to get to you?

You can arrive by car, train, or plane. You can find the address on Google Maps. Loft 1 and Loft 2 are located in the rear section of building 72C. Loft 3 is located in the front section of building 72.

What are the parking options on site?

Free parking is available on the premises and on Wiesenstraße. Please observe the marked no-parking zones.

Are there different backgrounds?

All walls are painted white (one side smoothly plastered), in addition there is a large, mobile roll-up wall which can be moved anywhere with its two different motifs; one side of the mobile wall is a single color (Loft 1: beige, Loft 2: white, Loft 3: concrete plaster), the other side has Parisian stucco.

Loft 3 has a mobile staircase, while Loft 1 and Loft 2 have permanently installed staircases.

May I cancel my reservation?

You can find the cancellation policy in our terms and conditions .
